2005 OL Genre Award Winners

Recommended Posts

The votes have all been tallied and ties dispensed of (I decided on a new tie-breaking techique this year: In any category that had a tie I consulted the votes of Shadowfyre, the man who pays the bills. Elektra was robbed, I tell you! ROBBED!

Huh? It wasn't even nominated? :D

Whoops.

BTW: I think I found my new title: "The man who pays the bills." :D

I have to say, I'm pretty surprised - and disappointed - by a lot of the winners in the television categories.

Not a fan of Lost?

Not a fan of Lost?

Yes and no, I suppose.

I like it, but this season just isn't doing it for me the way the first season did. And even the first season, IMO, wasn't as good as BSG.

Personally? No. Absolutely not.

Have you watched it? I mean, from the beginning? Because I really don't know anyone who's given it a shot and didn't like it. I'll probably admit the possibility that such a person exists, but I've never met one :D

And Karma, I'll allow that. Although I think the first season of Lost is probably among the greatest seasons of any show ever. There isn't an episode of that show I wouldn't watch again, and I've seen each of them at least 3/4 times. :D

Last season, I was in the same boat. I could watch an episode over and over again, this season, it's totally different for me. I have to force myself to watch, rather than playing a game or reading or even doing homework ( :D ).

Oh, and I do know at least one person who's tried to get into Lost but couldn't. My dad watched about the first half of last season but couldn't go on. He thinks the show is stupid. Frankly, I'm a little surprised he even tried watching it at all, since it's pretty much the last thing I can see someone like him watching, but he tried and couldn't get into it. So such people do exist. :D

Well, in that case you've just found one :D :D

Hmmm. I admit that the season has a much different feel. But I'm still completely sucked in on the show, and I still get geared up to watch every episode. But, as you saw earlier, I'm probably much more of a fanatic than most people :D

And fdewaele, if you legitimately gave it a shot and didn't like it, I'll give you that :D
