  1. Last Movie You Saw

Wild at Heart. I love David Lynch.
  2. The Tudors

are you kidding?? He was my favourite! I can't wait til Anne Boleyn comes in a 'ruin's everything (I've only seen up to the third episode... school ruined my relationship with television) I wonder where they're filming the show, as her house is still standing and it would be nice to see some of the actual architecture from his history.. that is, if the home hasn't been updated by the current owners.
  3. 3x20 - "Crossroads, Part II"

they all have cylon blood in them. I would assume it's Athena's blood that runs through all their veins. I guess Roslin being mildly vision-y, and the fact that cylons also seem to display some 'vision' capabilities (Leoban) that may or may not explain it.. but that's what I'm equating it to. Blood seems to be an important theme. The blood connection seems fairly obvious. I'm not sure Athena's blood is relevant, though. I think it's enough that they all have Cylon blood, or at least something based on Cylon blood or Cylon genetic material. Roslin had something derived from Hera's blood injected into her, but not Hera's actuall blood. Similarly, while there are similarities between the blood - or at least the genetic make up of it - of Hera and Athena it's not the same. Up until this point, in any event, it makes sense. I'm not sure how Six fits in though. She doesn't share Athena or Hera's blood any more than, say, Cavil. I'm just assuming that somehow they're all connected. Not in a borg kind of way... but more in the way that they are somehow connecting.. I'm not really sure. Maybe it is just as simple as Hera's blood, or Cylon blood being a connector. Or maybe that's just the conclusion that they want us to come to... I'm going to be a little upset if it's not something alittle more clever than what I've cooked up for a theory. I"m pretty content in being patient for season 4 and some kind of explaination.. my lax speculation may get the better of me and theories.. though fun to hash out, get a little heavy. For me atleast.
  4. The Black Donnellys (SPOILERS)

they were all slaughtered in real life by an angry mob... I wonder how dark (and accurate) it's actually going to get
  5. Last Movie You Saw

  6. 3x20 - "Crossroads, Part II"

alright.. I was just curious about this whole song thing. So I wiki'd it. I didn't know all the lyrics or the background of the song, I'm not afraid to admit that. I found that some things are actually kind of familiar when I think about the last three seasons of Battlestar. Bob Dylan has indicated that the events in the song's lyrics are "in a rather reverse order", (see Marqusee, p. 236), beginning logically in time with the "All Along the Watchtower" verse, describing the approach of the horsemen, and ending with the now-famous opening lines, "'There must be some way out of here,' said the Joker to the Thief." The song depicts a conversation between two people, a "joker" and a "thief", about the difficulties of getting by in life ("There's too much confusion"). The joker is concerned about losing his property, while the thief observes that some individuals among them aren't taking life as seriously as they should: "There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke." ...... The joker then suggests that time is running out, which may hint of their own mortality or foreshadow a change in society. In the last verse the viewpoint of the song switches abruptly. The ruling princes stand guard in a watchtower over their women and servants as an unnamed pair approach amid ominous sounds.[1] I'm not going to write much about what I think this all means, just that it does sort of make sense in terms of the storyline. I'll have to think about it more, but I just thought I would post this here for everyone with questions about the choice of song.
